Magical October

I love autumn, perhaps the same or more as I love all the seasons.

Since I developed a relationship with trees, I truly enjoy woods all year around. My visits to the woods are always accompanied by many 'wow' 'ah' and 'awesome' worlds...and at times I do get self conscious about my expressions.

Other times I am totaly oblivious there are other people around and just let nature carry me on with the variable greens, dapple shade or rain.

The moods of woods are forever variable.

I take pictures because I can't help myself and need to share my joy with friends.

Since you are here reading this I consider you my friend too, for something must resonate with the natural world in yourself too.

This autumn I asked tree friend whether we were going to have an spectacular year like the one portrayed in the book cover of 'What the trees told me'....they said no.

They have not dissapointed as it has been a slow one with leaves falling all the time though an orange autumn seems truly unlikely.

Here are some photos of my walk yesterday in the wooded area of the Alexandra Park. Enjoy!
